Shadewire Chat
Private communication
Servers, channels, roles and voice — the shape you already know, running on a self-hosted backend instead of somebody's advertising platform. Web, desktop and Android.
Private infrastructure · operator-run
Shadewire runs private communication, networking, hosted services and game infrastructure on machines we maintain ourselves. One backbone, operated in private.
secure.private.yours.
Doctrine
Most communication platforms are somebody else's business model. Messages cross machines you cannot inspect, held by companies whose incentives are not yours, under terms that change without asking.
Shadewire is the other arrangement. Communication, networking, DNS, storage and the services behind them run on privately operated systems. Nothing here is funded by advertising, and there is no third party to sell to.
Three words, kept literally
TLS at every public endpoint. An invitation at every door.
Every public hostname terminates on our own reverse proxy with certificates we manage. Accounts are created by invitation, not sign-up, and administrative surfaces are not reachable from the public internet at all.
No ads. No analytics. No telemetry leaving the estate.
This website loads no third-party scripts, no tracking pixels and no externally hosted fonts — everything it needs is served from this origin. The resolver, the logs and the metrics belong to the same operator as the hardware.
Data on drives we can physically hold.
Messages, uploads and backups live on disks in a rack we maintain. No cloud provider can read them, price them, throttle them or delete them, because no cloud provider is holding them.

Shadewire Mesh
Mesh connects the devices you approve back to private services from anywhere — your files, your screens, your media — without exposing any of it to the public internet. Built on NetBird.
Shadewire Games
Persistent and seasonal worlds hosted alongside the rest of the network, with live status and player counts published from the control plane.
Running on the wire
These readouts come from the estate's own status feed. When the feed is stale or unreachable this section says so rather than showing you an old number.
Access
There is no open sign-up. One short application covers Chat, Mesh, or both — the operator reads every one personally, so expect a human reply rather than an automated approval.
